Congratulations to the RITA Squad who traveled to Malaysia for the 6th Junior and 1st Veteran World Championships, Overall tally of medals was 2 gold, 5 Silver and 2 Bronze.
A total of over 650 competitors from 49 Countries took part.
Mr Feaheny won a Silver in 40-50 years 1st Degree Patterns & Gold in 40-50 years -90Kgs Sparring.
Mr Mc Guinness won Silver in 40-50 years 2nd Degree Patterns and gold in 50+ years -80kgs Sparring
Ms O Shea won Silver in 40-50 years Female 1st Degree Patterns, Silver in 40-50 -63kgs Female Sparring and silver in veteran female Power.
Mr Dempsey won a Bronze in 40-50years -90kgs Sparring.
Jessie Doonan won a bronze in junior 1st Degree Patterns.
David Freeman got to Quarter finals in 1st Degree Male Patterns.
Junior Self Defence routine lost to Czech Republic in Quarter finals, so just missed out on the medals.
Ciaran Dempsey, Got Korea in the first round of junior male -58kgs sparring and narrowly lost. The Korean went on to Win the section.
